Brannon's Biography
How does one go off into the rambling of info about their life? Let's give this a go.
My interest in the paranormal realm came at an early age. Don't ask me when, I have a hard time remembering last night's dinner (occasionally). It both intrigued me and terrified me. I recall an assignment in 3rd grade for a description of what I wanted to be when I grew up. You guessed it, I wanted to be a ghost hunter. Mind you, this was circa 1983, pre-"Ghostbusters".
Between that point and 8th grade, I experienced a few oddities, but never became involved. One doesn't just look up "Junior Ghost Hunting" organizations in the phone book. It was at that time that a couple of my friends and I came up with the idea to do ghost research on our own. I had already been reading up on Harry Price and his investigative techniques in the Borley Rectory in England and felt that many of his ideas and philosophies were sound still to this day. The project never got off of the ground, primarily due to the fact that we didn't know of anywhere reportedly haunted.
Since those early beginnings, I have taken a renewed interest in the study. I'm one of those individuals that doesn't just want to hear, see, or feel that something is going on, I want documented evidence. That was my nomination to the science department of FPI. I love to learn about various techniques and equipment, just hate seeing the price tag associated with a lot of it. This leaves a lot of opportunity to get involved with electrical engineering, electrical schematics, PC boards, soldering, etc. If you can be bought, but is too expensive, make it. We'll see how well that mindset works.
Keep your eyes peeled! Hopefully I'll be able to keep the world informed of successful equipment construction and testing.
