What paranormal group in Colorado has not heard of Bald Mountain?
Anyone? |

The location is very dark, very closed in, and very much the right ambience to make the mind play tricks. It's a great place to take new people, and see how they deal with all of that, while keeping their investigation from being affected. It also has a good amount of energy, and a few ghosts who are strong enough to play with your hair. LOL! Wonderful combo in a place like this!
From an investigators log: We went several miles down the road. The farther we got the more I felt "we need to turn around". I felt "off" is the best way to describe it. So finally we turned around and started back to the "Y". Once we got there, we stopped at what we thought was the first cemetery only to realize this was not it. My feeling was to go back down the mountain, something was not right. I told the other investigator this but he was desperate to get to the graveyard and I did not want to disappoint him. So on we went up the road. The farther we went, my feeling got stronger. I was feeling isolated yet invaded, almost violated, if this makes any sense. As we got to the top of the mountain and headed down the road that takes you to the cemetery, the feeling intensified and I started to, for lack of a better word, panic. We continued to get lost, but at this point I was done. I would not and could not go any farther. We stopped at the intersection at the top. I told the other investigator that I would wait for him there, but would not continue. The rest of the group soon showed up. I told them I would wait for the other investigator and point him in the direction of the group, and then I would be heading back down the mountain. As I was going back down the mountain I was trying to figure out why I was feeling this way. I knew that this was silly but could not snap out of it. I started to cry from relief that it was over, not true crying but tears were running down my face. I pulled over for a minute to regain my composure. It took me a couple of hours to finally calm down and feel normal again. |

Sigh
Recorded by Stacie: This was about 15 minutes into the investigation (8:45pm). You can hear the tail end of me saying "Flash" and then you hear a whispering (female) followed by a sigh.

A great place, lots of activity, data readings are inconsistent here with a few power lines nearby, as well as it being an outdoor location. So mostly it's feelings and EVPs here.
