We received a request to investigate a private home in Sedalia. According to the owner of the home, she would be moving out shortly and wanted someone - anyone - to document the haunt she had lived with for years. She reported that there was always a strange presence felt, electrical problems, and a good amount of regular spook happenings.

This one was odd from the start. As soon as we met with the homeowner and her children, we realized there was odd energy everywhere, literally everywhere. Nothing was specific, or pinpointed to any location, just fleeting energies and feelings traveling around.
The home itself was located on the outer edge of nearly 2 miles of land. The team split into two groups. One group went with the homeowner to a location she felt seemed to be the center of the energy, and the other group investigated a little road that seemed to have quite a bit of odd energy.
EMF readings were highly unstable at this location. No matter where we stood or how we held the meter, it would not settle on a number, so it was impossible to gauge a true reading.
Temperature changes happened quickly. Inside the house, the temp dropped about 12 degrees on one occasion, and then quickly returned to normal. Outside temp readings were difficult to measure, due to a high wind and the typical changes brought on as night set in.

With the readings so difficult to pin down, and the photo's mostly blackened out, there wasn't much for us to go on. The investigators strongly feel as if the 'haunt' isn't attached to the house, but rather to somewhere on the land. A strength of energy was felt in certain spots, but no apparitions were witnessed.
With the lack of hard evidence, more investigation is needed to make a determination as to what is happening. Currently, the owner has not requested a follow up investigation.
