Case 719 - Holiday Inn - Ft. Collins Holidome

The Myth behind this one is that a certain room is haunted by a little girl's spirit, and that a woman looks over the pool from the second story and watches for children playing too rough. There were stories of all kinds of sightings floating the internet, and stories of the room. The room in question was supposedly inhabited by the spirit of an unknown little girl. She would play with the thermostat controls and freeze out the guests, turn the channels on the television and in general cause a bit of trouble. The hotel owner had reported losing a bit of money on that room, as guests were leaving half-way through their stay and the problem was getting bothersome for him. The owner at the time of our investigation no longer owns the property as we are aware of as of 2003.

Speaking with the maintenance men, they've also seen someone swimming in the pool after hours. They descend the stairs and when they get there, the water is still moving from the splashing, but no human in sight and swimming is still going on. There were also no wet footprints anywhere in sight. We contacted the hotel owner and were granted permission to stay overnight in the closed down, haunted room

While walking around the pool areas and hallways late in the night, you hear whispers around you ... plenty of voices and echoes that make no sense with no living origin. Fun place!
**UPDATE**
The owner has redecorated the room and resumed renting it out ... no further problems are occurring in the room since we cleared it all out.

This was a verified haunting, but we cleared out the room, so that the hotel owner could resume renting it out. The room now has no spirits, confirmed by the readings after we cleared it ... all readings then read normal and no photos produced anything other than room shots. The pool area is still haunted, and around the hallways. The elevator is still going to have spirits in it ... they refused to leave, and asked us not to attempt to clear them or the ones by the pool. No EVP will be posted here unless another problem arises. The tape had all kinds of wonderful things on it ... but there were background noises that interfered with proving the closeness of the sounds to the recorder. So, sadly, we believe it to be EVP, but have no way of being 100% certain.
