Warning: If the gates are closed, stay out.
This location had no stories or rumors or myth or legend or anything about it when we came here. Just a reference that it might be an interesting place. So we went. Now-a-days, I get occasional emails from people with stories about what they felt driving by and what not. Seems as if Goldhill is turning into it's own myth as time passes. |

It's easy to say that all cemeteries are haunted, but not all are. I hadn't heard any myths or 'stories' about this place, but when we came here, the energy was jumping right from the start. If you attempt this investigation, take my advice, and go in small numbers. The spirits there pretty much go 'null' on you if there's a large group of people. The ideal group number we've found is around 3 or 4.
Several times during both our first and second trips through here, we watched the gates close and open by themselves. No too little wind, and the wind that was around on both nights was not even strong enough to tip over the very tiny temp reader from the top of a headstone. So, it's not possible for the wind to have moved large and very sturdy metal gates. No visible ghosts or energies ... but the equipment always read them. EMF: Normal area reading towards street and along building side - 7.12 averaged Normal area reading towards back and hidden portions - 4.78 averaged We saw spikes in both areas, on both nights of upwards to 178.567 Temp: More noticeable activity in this area on our second trip of 24 July 2002 Around certain people, during certain activities only, the reader would drop into a negative. The lowest seen at this time was negative 32 degrees F. |

Boom Shoop Bye Mister
We walked back to the cars, I opened my truck door, and threw the recorder on the front seat, and turned to light a cigarette forgetting that I had left the recorder on. This is what we caught. |

This one is a calm and friendly haunt, as long as there is not a large group of you going. It's one of those rare places where the energy remains, no matter what conditions you put on the place - aside from the numbers issues. The only thing that will change in what kind of evidence you receive is that the energy goes 'hidden' with too many people. A great place for beginning investigators and new ghost hunters. The energy in here is perfect for anyone, and should not be one of those places where people get frightened. In fact, if you are new to all of this and wander into this cemetery and do become frightened, I will be very very surprised by it. Goldhill is one of the great calm places ... and we love it there.
