Case 715 - Masonic Cemetery

The Myth: The White Woman flies past each April 5th and November 1st of the year. Over the years, this place has gotten loads of attention due to this apparition. No one knows who she really is, only that she shows up. Some years she will and some years, she'll hide. Her vision is associated with the Cameron grave, and it has been suggested and though that she was his great love, or perhaps his wife. It could be a simple case of friendship amongst the two or the family and this woman. But no one will ever know. Masonic Cemetery has wonderful old graves, and many many investigative teams have found evidence of hauntings here.

Some quotes from investigators logs
7:50 PM - There is a little girl's ghost standing on the hill directly to the left of us, as we approach the middle of the cemetery. She's only watching us, and seems unable to come into the cemetery itself.
8:23 PM - A warmth was coming from the ground ... the whole group of us all felt the heat coming up from that spot. Seeing as one person was cold, she wouldn't budge off that spot
8:34 PM - Caught flashing orange out of the sides of my eyes. I kept trying to get closer to it, but it kept moving off towards the shed at the back of the property
8:45 PM - The shed on the far side is big time haunted. Something in there is not happy. As soon as we opened the door and it was woken up and came out, there was a 'bad' spot floating around that we tried to avoid at all costs. Erik first felt it. Each time Gary tried to tape it, it went inactive. As soon as he would turn off the camera, blinking lights on the back of the shed. We shone a spotlight in there as well as the infrared light and the blue security light, and we could find NO reflective surfaces on the wall to have caused that. Erik was over come by the smell of vomit, so we wandered away from there as soon as Gary and Erik got some interior shots of the shed.
9:01 PM - Voices coming from the area where we parked our car, and breaking branches all around the outside of the cemetery gates.
9:15 PM - Grave of Fred - he was young at his time of death. He's definitely friendly! And two of us both touch his gravestone and 'feel' bits about him. I think he deserves more looking into. He seems to be longing for Theresa, and a young son. I need to look into this man's history.
9:17 PM - The White Woman shows up, and we all see several times her shadow passing over us. At this point, the cameras start shooting more avidly. She's only there briefly, and then is gone
9:42 PM - The voices by the cars return.
After this first investigation, we've made regular trips and found more and more readings to support our initial investigation and feelings then. The EMF Readings have been sporadic. Sometimes as high as 112 and sometimes there's nothing. Those readings are after taking into consideration the base readings in the area due to power lines, lights, etc.
Temperature readings in the outdoors haven't been either high or low, excepting a few occasions with lows going into the negative degrees. On those occasions, no wind was present and the ambient air temp. Was running well above 50 degrees.
EVP hasn't proven successful around here. There seems to be a problem with a load of odd beeps and nothingness only being recorded. That in itself is a sign of something going on, but there is no way to prove ghostly interaction for it.

I love this place, and I will return as often as possible to find out more about all the feelings here coming from the ground. At one point (I forgot to look at my watch) a hand reached up from the ground to me, as if it just wanted to touch something living again ... so I reached down to it. These spirits, with the exception of the shed, are calm and peaceful. Welcoming and very polite. I would recommend that if you plan to go on the days the woman shows up, you go plenty early, it tends to get really crowded on some years. Stop in at the Sweet Shop for coffee and say howdy to the gang up there.
