Warning: Do not violate gate hours ... keep yourself within the legal times and keep it safe and you should be alright.
The Myth: Old 19th century armory on the south face of the hill, below and to the left of the park facilities, a ghost named "Kether" dwells. She was sacrificed on this spot as punishment for disobedience of her coven whose beliefs were loosely based on worship of the Egyptian god "Set". Often, on a hot summer day, the concrete and stone bunker goes suddenly cold and the spot where her blood spilled becomes damp to the touch. An apparition has also been seen on the hill nearby. |

From Investigators Log on 13 April 2002
12:56 AM - Investigator#2 gets a massive head rush and bends over, dizzy, as we approach the park 1:02 AM - We are heading west and the road was turning this way and that. It's a small dirt road. The compass says we are heading west. We flip a bitch (U-turn) and start back to where both Investigator#2 and I felt something, and the compass still reads west. It spins a bit, and then goes to Southwest. We should be heading NE 1:19 AM - Investigator#2 hears a woman's voice whispering but no distinct words are yet heard. 1:44 AM - Investigator#2 hears clearly, "They made me do it" 2:04 AM - We are driving home, and I clearly hear someone stating, as if protesting, "There is blood on my hands that cannot ever be washed away! I did nothing wrong!" And then a very loud screaming for a few minutes. Upon returning on 24 July 2002, we had directions to the bunker, and I will be honest, it was still a bit difficult to find. But we finally found it. The easiest path is to take the small path closest to the outhouse (between the outhouse and the trash can) and then the trail splits a few feet into it. Take the right path at that point, and you'll come to some large flat rocks, with a drop down of about 3 feet. But if you walk to the very most left part of those flat rocks, the step down there amongst the bushes is about half a foot and easier to do. But I digress LOL I did grounds walking, and 2 investigators went into the bunker. They did not see any kind of blood stains, although the bunker itself is HIGHLY thrashed with graffiti and beer bottles, etc. One investigator felt waves of sadness that was knocking her over the entire time, and walking the woods around the bunker, I kept feeling sharp stabbing pains to my shoulder and back and a need to just RUN. But I will be honest in saying that the MOST spirit presence felt wasn't at the bunker at all. It was by the entrance where the buffalo are behind the fence. And we got the most evidence there as well. You'll have to judge this one for yourself ... I have a feeling there are too many different spirits running around there to count only one in one place. |

Violent and angry spirit present. We believe it to be haunted, but it's difficult to say for certain. Energies around there seem to pick up on investigators feelings and radio them back, so to speak. This is not an official statement, just some opinions from our side of the board. Even though we think this is a good spot most of the time, we can't yet say what is there and what actually took place. UPDATE: After more visits back and time to review all things, the initial investigation has been classified as tainted. There were circumstances that were not logged. Although the first visit was tainted, all visits after have been classified as safe, with all logs in place and all things double checked.
