Warning first: Lots of people go for this one. We have noticed an increased police pressence there. Unless you have after hours permission, just don't go there.
We were asked to come here by an old friend. According to her personal feelings, when dining at the Denny's next door, she could often feel things happening in there. There is no story or legend involved in this one. |

This began as a routine, just chilling out, driving around to search, kind of thing. Which is always fun in the middle of the night for entertainment! We arrived at Olinger Cemetery and just began driving slowly throughout the little roads. Olinger is a relatively new cemetery, and we didn't expect much at all in the way of old ghosts. We turned down a little road there called Garden of Babyland ... the name just kind of struck out to us for some reason. We just wandered about for about 2 minutes getting tape and footage ... just your simple run of the mill exercise. Upon searching around the back, we began to hear someone crying, and then very angry growling sounds. Faintly, in the background of freeway traffic, we also heard piano keys being struck. We looked around for a source for that, and studied all the surrounding buildings, but NO sign of music anywhere. But I digress ... The growling seemed to be coming from the grave of Larry C. Martinez 1945-1989 .... we plan to learn more about this man, but it could have simply been something standing around, and not related to this particular person. Around 4 minutes into investigation, we noticed that all the batteries were completely dying out. We had bought and charged up brand new batteries for all pieces of equipment, so this kind of baffled us. We heard the sound of what seemed to be a little girl weeping ... and then the video camera lost all battery, and we decided to pack it in, and head home.
UPDATE: Upon bringing guests up there ... we noticed shattered glass all around one family site. We set our recorders down there. My handheld recorder wouldn't work. Brand new fresh batteries, and a brand new tape, and the silly thing kept clicking off! Every time I tried to turn it back on, something hit my hand. The figure of a tall thin dark man with a knife kept creeping along so we packed up and headed out to a different location. I doubt the man was living or visible. |

Grunt
While the recorder was left by itself at the broken glass area, this was captured about 2 minutes and 12 seconds before the recorder clicked itself off again. |

Haunted - but I think they are sick of being bothered by outsiders. Each return trip has resulted in it shutting down in energy once we get to an area where we've already investigated. It's a good place for newbies to practice on though ... lots of relatively calm energy, and nothing strong enough to hurt anyone. ParaFPI is done going in there unless it's to show a small group around and see what they find.
